Learning Assistance at Handsworth
Handsworth's Learning Assistance Centre (LAC) is a safe, welcoming space where students receive direct support from special education teachers and educational assistants. Much of the time, students use their time in the LAC on homework for their academic courses. The Learning Assistance Centre also help students become conscientious, critical thinkers and helps them learn new strategies to study and prepare for tests, improve their organization and time management skills, and assists them as they develop into independent young adults.
